Nominator
Nominator Pty. Ltd. is a wholly owned and based South Australian Company that is authorised by the State of South Australia through the Minister to appoint Adjudicators and to perform the functions of an Authorised Nominating Authority under the South Australian Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009.
The Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009 came into operation as of the 10th December 2011. Nominator Pty. Ltd. considers that this is very important legislation, as it enhances and protects the rights of a person, contractor or company that undertakes construction work, or the supply of related goods and services, to be fairly paid on time for the works performed. The Act also brings into law further options, not previously available, to resolve disputes concerning payments that are more affordable and time effective than going to court or arbitration.
Nominator Pty. Ltd. considers that it is important to have a truly South Australian owned and based Authorised Nominating Authority that can provide access to a panel of recognised South Australian based and qualified Adjudicators. In keeping with this Nominator Pty. Ltd. has sought out, invited and trained local Adjudicator candidates who meet the strict Company criteria of professionalism, a genuine broad depth of experience within the Building and Construction Industries and most importantly are competent, fair and impartial.
